Rumors: Lenovo S20 will be a 12-inch netbook

Rumors according to DigiTimes are that Lenovo is working on a 12-inch netbook with the N280 Atom processor, and it may draw the price-ire of Intel as it dares to use a screen-size not authorized by Big Intel. It looks like they have some different ...idea pads :)

Things are heating up in the netbook market, as everyone and their tech-savvy mother-in-law are launching netbooks left and right. And the drop in prices among laptops is setting up a situation where the number and variety of netbooks, may exceed demand and interest. For example, look at this feature-packed Compaq CQ60-212, selling at near-netbook prices ($400 after rebate). If you are considering a 12-inch netbook versus 15.6" laptop, it's just not the same slam-dunk decision as if you wanted a cutesy tiny little 8.9" to carry everywhere.
