Is the Kindle 2.0 coming on Monday?

There is some buzz in the blogosphere, is Amazon going to announce the 2nd generation of the Kindle on Monday? Apple Insider thinks so, after reading the tea-leaves, and the invitations for a special Amazon event at a library. Library, books, Kindle, can you make the connection? :-)

The research discussed talks of the Kindle becoming a billion dollar industry by 2010, not bad for Amazon and the satellite Kindle industries.

The convergence of multiple devices, from phones, to netbooks, to umpcs, to media players and ebooks could make for a very dramatic 2010s-decade, as the different devices will be fighting it out in the 10s for world domination. Maybe :)
