WiMax is the raison d'etre of the new Toshiba Protege R600-ST520W

It's not just fun and games for Toshiba, they have also announced two variations on a theme, the business laptop Protege R600-STS520W is now with WiMax, so your broadband will flow like a river - assuming you can find WiMax :) The starting price will be $2150. This laptop is already available for ordering at the ToshibaDirect website.

+ Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 processor
+ 3GB PC2-6400 DDR2 800MHz SDRAM
+ 160GB HDD (5400rpm)
+ choice of 32-bit Vista Bidness (okay, Business) or XP Professional
