New HP Mini 2140 is officially announced

The parade of new CES 2009 gear, official or leaked, continues with the HP Mini 2140, a netbook, a 3rd generation netbook from Hewlett Packard which of course includes EDS, Compaq, Digital Equipment (DEC) and lots of other smaller parts.

The 2140 will come out later this month starting at around $500, with your choice of hard disk or SSD, an Atom processor of course (1.6 GHz), and 10.1" display (16:9 widescreen ratio).
