New Archos 10 netbook (yes netbook) shown at CES 2009

Yes, Archos, the brand you may know from their portable media players of all sizes, is in the Netbook game as well. It semes like everyone, including TechCrunch is coming wit their own version fo the netbook or netpad or whatever you want to call it :)

This lovely is powered by the Atom N270 (1.6Ghz) processor, and comes with 1gb DDR2 memory which happens to be the max memory it can take. The 10.2" display is LED-backlit with the standard netbook 1024x600 resolution. Other specs include a 160gb hard disk, webcam, card-reader, and the usual assortment of featurs. The operating system is Windows XP Home, while the battery is a choice of 3 or 6 cell.
