New Acer Ferrari 1200 quietly shows up online

This is not a CES 2009 model, but a just-announced Ferrari-branded laptop from Acer. Ferrari it is as the press release comes out of Italy, and the city of Milan!

This of course appeals to a certain market segment, so it's by no means going to be an affordable model, especially considering the 12.1" widescreen as a fully-functional laptop, not a netbook mind you!

Here are the main specifications:
+ 12.1" widescreen LED-backlit
+ AMD Turion X2 Ultra dual-core
+ up to 4gb DDR2 dual-channel memory
+ AMD M780G chipset
+ SATA hard disk
+ dvd burner
+ fingerprint security
+ carbon-fiber cover
+ wifi
