BenQ JoyBook U101 netbook coming to America soon

With or without Eddie Murphy, the BenQ Joybook Lite U101 was launched in Taiwan in December 2008, but now it is coming to America!

This lovely has a 10.1" LED-backlit display, which is of the 16:9 widescreen variety with a 1024x576 resolution as spotlighted in the Laptop Magazine review.

As expected, this is lightweight (around 2.5 pounds), comes with a 1.6 GHz Atom, with 1gb memory, 160gb disk, and of course Windows XP. It also has a mini PCI-e slot, but no 3G modem.
