Ten? Will it sing? Wil it dance? Will it be completely overpriced? :)

Dual-core processors coming for ultra-thin SU-based notebooks

Intel has a love and hate relationship with netbooks, because it is scared that they may eat up from its more lucrative laptop business. So, afraid of that possibility, they will be making available dual-core SU-processors for the ultra-thin notebook computers out there. It is really hard to accept paying 2X to 3X for an SU-based laptop and not even get two cores.

So, by adding dual-core processors, they are creating more separation between them and the Atom-based netbooks.

Expandable laptop monitors ...expanding

Just about everyone using a laptop, even one of those 17 or 18-inchers, have left restrained, constrained, and in jail with the limited space of a laptop screen. But that may no longer be a limitation! Mashable talks of a new expandable dual-screen design by Alaskan-based gScreen! These will be LED-backlit displays, and the specifications listed there show a $3000 price-tag for a nicely spec'ed laptop. As you can expect, for a unique laptop like this, there will be a price premium!

And some could argue, if it can increase your productivity and make your work more pleasurable (or less frustrating), then the price-tag is ...priceless!
